Overview: What is a dry cabinet?

Dry cabinets and dry boxes are a relatively new appliance for consumers.  It is a machine designed to speed up the drying of items (usually clothes) that are typically unsafe to put in a typical clothes dryer.  These are delicate clothing that must usually be dried flat or hung up to dry.  Other items like shoes, comforters, and coats also utilize the dry box due to their size and fabric content.  This is a useful machine for laundry service providers, and in recent years, smaller home-sized dry cabinets are becoming more widely available for personal use.
